About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient behavioral health team in Pelham, Alabama. This is a full-time outpatient PMHNP opportunity offering a Monday–Friday schedule, collaborative physician support, strong administrative infrastructure, and excellent work-life balance within a clinician-led psychiatric practice. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of PMHNP experience practicing in Alabama and an active DEA license at the time of hire.
Requirements
- Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Minimum of 1 year PMHNP experience in Alabama required
- Active Alabama APRN license required
- DEA license required
- Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care
- Develop individualized behavioral health treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based outpatient mental health treatment
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Participate in shared weekend call rotation
