About the position
Headway is a mental healthcare company that aims to make quality in-network mental health care accessible to everyone. They have built a software-enabled network of therapists who accept health insurance, making it possible for patients to find quality care they can afford. As a Provider Growth Associate, you will be responsible for scaling their community of therapists and psychiatrists to increase access to quality care. This role requires 1+ years of experience in consultative sales or consumer sales, the ability to connect with people, a deep work ethic, and a scientific approach to growth. Responsibilities
- Scale the community of therapists and psychiatrists to increase access to quality care for those who need it
- Expand therapist networks through a full-cycle sales motion
- Work cross-functionally to translate insights from sales process into products and processes that help execute on the mission
- Connect with people in person, over the phone, or over email
- Experiment with a variety of tactics to discover how to generate leads and sell
- Identify which channels warrant more investment and which to avoid
- Continuously improve and take a scientific approach to growth
- Believe in the importance of affordable and accessible mental health care for everyone
- Work remotely across the US with the option to work from the NYC HQ

Requirements
- 1+ years experience in consultative sales or consumer sales (bonus points if you’ve done this in a startup environment, or sold to small businesses before)
- Ability to connect with people whether in person, over the phone, or over email
- Strong work ethic and desire to continuously improve
- Ability to handle rejection and bounce back when things don't go your way
- Analytical ability to identify which channels warrant more investment and which to avoid
- Scientific approach to growth, experimenting with a variety of tactics to discover how to generate leads and sell
- Desire to learn and grow within the company
- Belief in the importance of affordable and accessible mental health care for everyone.
