About the position
Headway is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to join their team and advise on all aspects of people-related matters. This includes performance management, talent development, coaching, employee relations, and organizational design. The ideal candidate will use qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and inform innovative program design to ensure employee engagement and growth. As the second HRBP at Headway, this role will play a crucial part in upholding the company's values and amplifying the success of their business and products through their most important asset: their people.
Responsibilities
- Drive People team relationship and processes for the Engineering, Product and Design (EPD) organization including performance management, talent development, leadership coaching, employee relations, and organizational design.
- Own select company-wide policies, processes, or initiatives as the company continues to grow, modernize, and scale.
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to perform root cause analysis, identify trends, tell a story, influence and inform innovative ways to build programs, ensuring employees are engaged and growing.
- Uphold the company's values and amplify the success of the business and products through its most important asset: its people.
- Possess five or more years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner.
- Have experience with Engineering and/or Product client groups.
- Have excellent judgment and problem-solving capabilities, as well as the ability to make thoughtful decisions.
- Be intellectually curious about people and organizational issues, with a creative, solutions-based mindset that translates into high impact deliverables, all grounded in strong project and change management.
- Be analytically driven, utilizing qualitative and quantitative approaches to problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Possess experience driving key initiatives.
