About The Position

The Proposal Graphics Specialist creates rapid-turn, compliant, evaluator-aligned visual materials for Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) submissions, including white papers, concept submissions, prototype proposals, and consortium calls. As part of the Defense CSO/OTA Rapid Response Team, the specialist works with Proposal Writers, Solution Architects, Proposal Development leads, and Defense Portfolio Subject Matter Experts to turn narrative content and draft concepts into clear and compelling diagrams, workflow models, prototype visuals, value proposition graphics, and submission-ready layouts. The specialist ensures visual materials follow the applicable acquisition pathway, award instrument, consortium or marketplace submission standards, and CSO/OTA playbook expectations. The role requires high aesthetic quality, consistency, and attention to detail so submissions are cohesive, professionally formatted, and ready for evaluator review within rapid-response deadlines.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience creating proposal graphics, technical illustrations, or visual communications.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting DoD, federal, or defense proposal efforts.
Familiarity with CSO, OTA, and other non-traditional government acquisition processes.
Experience creating system diagrams, workflows, CONOPS, and infographics.
Knowledge of proposal compliance and evaluator-focused design principles.
Experience collaborating with proposal teams, SMEs, and solution architects.

Responsibilities

Create compliant, evaluator-aligned visual materials for CSO and OTA white papers, concept submissions, prototype proposals, and consortium calls.
Translate narrative inputs and draft concepts into diagrams, workflow models, prototype visuals, value proposition graphics, and submission-ready layouts.
Collaborate with Proposal Writers, Solution Architects, Proposal Development leads, and Defense Portfolio Subject Matter Experts.
Ensure materials reflect the appropriate acquisition pathway, award instrument, consortium or marketplace standards, and CSO/OTA playbook expectations.
Maintain visual quality, consistency, clarity, and attention to detail while meeting strict deadlines.
