About The Position

The Property Manager leads and develops a team while overseeing multifamily property operations. The role balances team leadership with business strategy, with a focus on continuously improving performance and creating consistently excellent, referral-worthy customer experiences for internal and external customers. The position requires occasional travel and Spanish fluency.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a residential property manager.
• Prior supervisory experience, including selection and hiring, team training and coaching, and budget processing.
• Working knowledge of multifamily property management practices and processes, including Fair Housing laws and regulations, building and grounds maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, eviction procedures, accounting principles, property safety, and property management and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of financial performance and balancing income and expenses.
• Spanish speaking required.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and mentor the property team.
• Advocate for the team and enhance individual performance.
• Oversee property operations, including leasing, resident relations, rent collection, maintenance, safety, accounting, and eviction procedures.
• Process budgets and balance income and expenses to support strong overall financial results.
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve property and team performance.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
