About The Position

Mason Equity Group, a property management company specializing in residential, commercial, and retail properties, is seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated Property Maintenance Specialist. The role maintains the condition and appearance of residential and commercial properties, completes unit turnovers, and handles maintenance work orders efficiently and to a high standard.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Experience with power tools and basic hand tools, and the ability to operate them safely and efficiently.
• Trustworthy, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in both residential and commercial property maintenance.
• Basic HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations across residential and commercial properties.
• Complete unit turnovers, including painting, minor repairs, and fixture replacements.
• Address and resolve maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Safely operate and maintain power tools and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas and storage spaces.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, and contractors about repairs and status updates as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance issues via the company-provided emergency phone on weekends.
