About The Position

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is hiring a professional, detail-oriented Property Maintenance Specialist II in Nampa, Idaho. This day-shift role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The position performs custodial maintenance and routine floor care, maintains equipment and supplies, and supports workplace safety, environmental practices, process improvement, and waste reduction. The work is performed with guidance and includes responding to requests as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience maintaining and cleaning commercial facilities.
• Ability to perform basic repairs, including carpentry, painting, and equipment installation.
• Ability to reach, bend, grip, and twist; stand for at least 8 hours; and frequently lift and maneuver 40 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.
• Highly motivated and self-starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily custodial maintenance duties, including sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, and trash removal.
• Respond appropriately to maintenance requests as needed.
• Assist with routine floor care, including stripping and sealing or waxing hard floors, carpet spotting, and carpet extraction.
• Use and maintain equipment and supplies properly; perform routine maintenance as requested.
• Follow and continuously improve workplace safety and environmental practices, area processes, and waste-reduction opportunities.
• Perform basic repairs, including carpentry, painting, and equipment installation.
