About The Position

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Property Maintenance Specialist II for its Nampa, Idaho location. The position performs daily custodial maintenance and routine floor care, maintains equipment and supplies, and contributes to workplace safety, environmental practices, process improvement, and waste reduction. The schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

Two years of experience maintaining and cleaning commercial facilities.
Ability to perform basic repairs, including carpentry, painting, and equipment installation.
Ability to reach, bend, grip, and twist; stand for at least eight hours; and frequently lift and maneuver 40 pounds.
Valid driver’s license.
Highly motivated and self-directed.

Responsibilities

With guidance, perform daily custodial maintenance duties, including sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, trash removal, and responding to requests as needed.
Assist with routine floor care, including stripping and sealing or waxing hard floors, carpet spotting, and extraction.
Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; perform routine maintenance as requested.
Follow and continuously improve workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes, and waste reduction opportunities.
