About The Position

Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking a first-party property coverage and defense attorney at the Associate or Partner level for its California office. The attorney will write coverage opinions for insurers and/or defend insurers in lawsuits filed by insureds. Applicants must reside in California and hold an active California state bar license in good standing. The role offers a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote, or a fully remote option. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position.

Requirements

• 3–12 years of experience.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Experience writing coverage opinions for insurers and/or defending insurers in lawsuits filed by insureds.
• Must reside in California.
• Must hold an active license in good standing with the California state bar.
