About The Position
Metis/Risk Management Programs provides third-party administrative services for self-insurance risk pools, operational support, and other solutions for Metis subsidiaries. The Property & Casualty Claims Specialist serves members throughout West Virginia, managing property and casualty and/or general liability claims, conducting investigations, collecting documentation, and helping claimants navigate the claims process. The position is remote in West Virginia or hybrid in Virginia. Duties may change and this description is not comprehensive.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling, or at least 10 years of property and casualty claims handling experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve property and casualty and/or general liability claims.
- Assess and evaluate claims, conduct investigations, and ensure documentation is collected.
- Build relationships with members and help claimants navigate the claims process.
