About The Position

Stone Security, part of BearCom, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Technician for its Nashville, Tennessee team. The role supports security installation projects and includes installing, programming, starting up, checking out, certifying, and providing customer training on assigned systems. Travel is required. Stone offers on-the-job training and supports professional growth and technical development.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of related work experience.
Three years of experience installing network camera systems, including Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, and Bosch.
Three years of experience installing security systems, including DMP and Bosch.
Three years of experience installing access control systems, including Lenel and S2.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
Ability to install system hardware and wiring, and lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

Install, program, start up, check out, and certify systems on assigned projects, and provide customer training.
Run wiring, install hardware, and field-terminate devices.
Inspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; adjust and repair them as needed.
Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
Ensure installations comply with Stone Security standards.
Use blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures, working independently on basic specifications and seeking assistance with more complex ones.
Perform other related duties as required.
