About The Position

Vixxo is seeking a full-time Equipment Technician to manage a territory that includes Nashville, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. The position pays $23 to $28 per hour, depending on experience. The technician works independently to provide reactive and preventative maintenance services throughout the assigned territory. The posting also advertises a $1,500 signing bonus, quarterly bonuses, and a company vehicle.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience servicing equipment; experience using proper testing equipment and practices for general electrical and water systems is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a customer-facing or customer-service role.
• Must like coffee, as tasting is the final step in all repairs.
• Proficiency using a smartphone for inventory, management, scheduling, and other tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical individuals.

• Experience using proper testing equipment and practices for general electrical and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair commercial espresso, coffee brewing, coffee grinding, and water systems throughout an assigned territory.
• Build and maintain customer relationships by providing professional and reliable services that follow safety rules.
• Meet customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements by conducting thorough inspections, performing timely and correct-first-time maintenance, and completing descriptive and accurate paperwork.
