About The Position

K&A Power Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Support Specialist to join their team in Augusta, Maine. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects within the energy and utility sectors as part of a dynamic, people-focused team where contributions are valued. The specialist will perform a wide range of analyst assignments, resolve recurring problems independently, parse and present data meaningfully, and analyze project financials and budgets. They will also utilize SAP for purchase requests, purchase orders, troubleshooting, and processing receipts, accruals, and invoices.

Requirements

3 years of related experience in a customer service, customer construction support, or workflow management role. Lesser experience in combination with related Associates or Bachelor’s degree will be considered.
Effective communicator, both verbal and written
Self-Motivation and Accountability
Organization and task prioritization skills
Ability to develop positive working relationships while enforcing required processes.
Ability to navigate databases and client management programs to process and understand data
Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of analyst assignments and resolving recurring problems independently without close supervision
Parse data and present in a meaningful format
Analyze project financials and budgets anticipate upcoming responsibilities or needs and use initiative appropriately
Utilize SAP to prepare purchase requests and purchase orders
Troubleshoot and resolve errors or issues with attention to detail
Process receipts, accruals, and invoices as part of the purchasing process
