About The Position
Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. (MES) is the general contracting and prime contractor arm of Michels, delivering complex energy and industrial infrastructure projects across North America. MES provides turnkey project execution and uses Michels' self-perform capabilities to manage construction from planning and procurement through field execution and project closeout. Its work includes pipelines, gas distribution systems, compressor and pump stations, industrial facilities, utility infrastructure, and energy-related construction. The posting describes the role as an Associate Project Manager responsible for supporting project planning and organization, implementing project management principles, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and business needs. The position is based in Wisconsin, is full-time, and requires travel, including the ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long-term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long-term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments.
