About The Position
Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. (MES), the general contracting and prime contractor arm of Michels, delivers complex energy and industrial infrastructure projects across North America. MES provides turnkey project execution and manages construction phases from planning and procurement through field execution and project closeout. Its work includes pipelines, gas distribution systems, compressor and pump stations, industrial facilities, utility infrastructure, and energy-related construction. The posting describes the position as an Associate Project Manager. The role supports project planning and organization, implements project management principles, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and business needs. The position is based in Bowling Green, Ohio, and requires travel, extended-duration assignments, and commitment to long-term onsite projects, including work in outdoor environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long-term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments.
