Project Manager, Civil & Marine division - Anchorage, AK

NANA Construction•Anchorage, AK
•Onsite

About The Position

The Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and closeout of civil construction and infrastructure projects throughout Alaska, particularly in remote and logistically challenging environments. The role is accountable for project safety, quality, schedule, cost, contract administration, procurement, personnel, subcontractors, and client relationships, working closely with project teams and internal estimating, accounting, project controls, equipment, logistics, and marine operations personnel. The position coordinates with the Marine Operations Manager and transportation providers on cargo shipment, equipment mobilization, material delivery, seasonal access, and other logistics needed to execute projects. NCC’s current marine activities primarily involve marine logistics and transportation rather than traditional marine construction. Marine construction experience is not required; candidates with that background may have an opportunity to help develop the capability as the Division grows. The role is based in Anchorage, Alaska, with frequent travel to project sites throughout the state. It is primarily office-based, with regular visits to active and potentially remote sites. Travel may involve commercial or small aircraft, vehicles, vessels, or other transportation. Project conditions may include extreme temperatures, precipitation, wind, uneven terrain, construction equipment, and moderate to high noise. The employee must frequently lift, move, or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. NCC offers competitive compensation and a benefits package that includes discretionary bonus and merit opportunities, a 401(k), paid time off if offered in the position, and comprehensive federal employee health benefits. Career development and advancement opportunities are available across NCC and the broader NANA organization.
