About The Position

Temco Logistics is a final-mile delivery services provider partnering with Home Depot to offer next-day “Direct from Store” delivery. The Field General Manager oversees daily delivery operations across multiple locations, leads drivers and technicians, and works to provide excellent customer service while improving operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role involving site visits, performance monitoring, issue resolution, fleet and route oversight, and coordination with Home Depot stores.

The position is based in Anchorage, Alaska, and includes multisite travel. The listed salary range is $100,000–$115,000 per year. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered. Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in Operations, Logistics, or Transportation Management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and route management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and conduct site visits to evaluate delivery quality and service.
• Manage customer complaints, delivery inquiries, and escalations, working with Home Depot associates to resolve issues the same day.
• Monitor and motivate technicians to meet performance goals; provide feedback and create continuous-improvement action plans.
• Enforce dock safety standards and uniform compliance, and uphold fleet maintenance protocols.
• Schedule and optimize technician routes to support timely deliveries.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance.
• Review performance metrics, document service failures, and work with the team to implement improvements.
• Coordinate with Home Depot stores to support smooth operations and align on customer needs.
