About The Position

AT&T Global Public Sector is hiring a Project Manager to support the National Security Sector with information technology upgrades. The role supports the intelligence community by helping provide, operate, and assure critical voice, video, and collaboration services. This is a full-time, onsite position performed five days per week at a government customer site in El Segundo, California. Relocation is not offered. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The Project Manager gathers and analyzes stakeholder requirements, assesses technical feasibility, coordinates cross-functional teams, and translates customer needs into integrated systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The role manages project roadmaps, schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, data governance, and reporting, while ensuring deliverables meet customer scope, quality, and service-level expectations. The position also supports process improvement, technical writing, executive reporting, and stakeholder engagement. The posted salary range is $89,200–$203,000 per year. Individual starting salary may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education or training.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience, which may be a combination of work history and education. The posting equates this to a doctorate plus 3 years, a master's degree plus 4 years, a bachelor's degree plus 6 years, an associate degree plus 8 years, or a high school diploma plus 10 years.
Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional team environments and willingness to learn and share knowledge in a professional office environment.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and strong data analysis capabilities.
Ability to comply with security-clearance management protocols, government security procedures, reporting requirements, and clearance eligibility standards throughout employment.
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice To Haves

Technical expertise in network IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, switches, and routers.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, or commitment to obtain it within six months.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
Experience in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, and project management tools.
Hands-on experience with Atlassian Confluence and HelpNow/ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

Conduct stakeholder analysis and requirements-gathering sessions; issue requests for information when needed.
Lead technical assessments across disciplines to evaluate network or systems requirements and implementation feasibility.
Analyze Request for Change requirements and recommend approaches aligned with business objectives.
Coordinate network projects and systems teams to clarify requirements and deliver integrated solutions within customer SLOs and SLAs.
Develop cost-benefit analyses and schedule impact assessments, and negotiate technical trade-offs.
Partner with cross-functional teams to execute projects through established workflows and processes; support engineering review boards and operational compliance.
Integrate systems and translate customer requirements into total systems solutions that account for technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform functional, timeline, cost, and requirements-allocation analysis to develop hardware and software specifications.
Create and maintain program-level and user-level technical documentation in accordance with industry and contractual standards.
Identify and implement process optimization opportunities consistent with customer guidance, cost savings, and system architecture objectives.
Conduct complex systems analysis and requirements studies to support operational excellence.
Work with Task Leads, Project Managers, and clients to ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and quality standards and to maintain stakeholder relationships.
Coordinate internal resources to support project execution and delivery.
Develop and maintain project roadmaps, monitor KPIs, and track progress using agile methodologies and industry-standard tools.
Prepare executive-level status reports and identify mitigation strategies to address project roadblocks.
Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning across service areas; identify, assess, and resolve risks, issues, and opportunities.
Support technical writing, document integration, and preparation of client-ready presentations and deliverables.
Manage data governance and reporting, including collecting, analyzing, and publishing information and statistical data in various formats.
Maintain project correspondence, records, reports, SOPs, and internal communications.
