Project Manager (US)

Blockdaemon is seeking a full-time Project Manager with experience in agile project management in the SaaS environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on-time and within budget. They will work closely with Product and Engineering leads to deliver quality products and drive competitive advantage. The Project Manager will also be responsible for stakeholder management, strategic planning, and improving project management processes. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required for this role.

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget
• Work closely with Product and Engineering leads to deliver quality products at pace
• Drive appropriate scope and solution decisions to deliver desired outcomes
• Deliver to target dates to support the product roadmap
• Manage scope, resources, and cost
• Provide first-class stakeholder management at all levels of the organization
• Own and drive multiple concurrent SaaS projects implementations to go-live
• Scope the required effort and define timelines with the project team
• Create project plans, delivery timelines, and identify key milestones
• Track and communicate project status and budgets
• Keep senior management informed about project progress, issues, risks, dependencies, and resource capacity
• Lead strategic planning for the project and sprint planning
• Prioritize project work and delegate responsibilities
• Support customer deliverables and resolve incidents
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Find opportunities to improve project management process, documentation, and tools
• Familiarity with SaaS implementations, technical integrations, and software rollouts
• Engage and motivate engineering and product teams
• Manage senior stakeholders and communicate key messages
• Think creatively and determine the best approach to get results
• Work in an agile framework while managing stakeholders and delivery dates
• Have a customer-first focus and be flexible in role scope

• Previous experience in agile project management in the SaaS environment
• Experience working in the Blockchain industry is an advantage
• 3+ years of experience managing projects at a technology company specifically involving software development; preferably for a SaaS company
• Familiarity with SaaS implementations, technical integrations, software rollouts
• A natural leader who can engage and motivate engineering and product teams to deliver outcomes in a collaborate way
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate key messages
• A dynamic thinker who ‘thinks outside of the box’ using project and delivery management experience to determine the best approach to get results
• Ability to work in an agile framework while working to target dates and managing stakeholders to ensure confidence levels in estimates are understood and risks to desired delivery dates are clearly communicated
