About The Position

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Energy Services to oversee all phases of electrical distribution system design. The role manages the distribution design process from project hand-off through construction completion, including quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) and training. The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates designated project activities to meet project objectives within prescribed schedules and funding parameters, performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Success in this position requires excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines, and anticipate and meet internal and external customer needs. The role is approximately 25% fieldwork and 75% office-based. Field assignments are generally within the employee’s local geographic territory, with minimal overnight travel; occasional overnight stays may be required. On non-field days, the work location—company office or home office—depends on the employee’s geographic location.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating field operations, QA/QC, training, and design processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer interaction skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and anticipate and meet internal and external customer needs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GE Smallworld, SAP, or similar utility design and work management systems.
