Project Manager, Business Process & Systems

ForTec Medical•Hudson, OH

About The Position

ForTec Medical is seeking an experienced Business Process & Systems Project Manager to lead initiatives that improve business processes, optimize systems, and advance organizational strategic objectives. The role works collaboratively with business leaders, subject matter experts, IT Architecture, Engineering, and other SDI team members to evaluate solutions from an enterprise perspective and align them with business priorities. The Project Manager manages assigned projects throughout their lifecycle, from discovery and business analysis through implementation, business acceptance, and evaluation of outcomes. The role develops an understanding of business systems and how they support processes across departments; evaluates system use and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual workarounds and duplicate data entry, and address inefficient workflows. It analyzes whether business challenges call for process, system, data, or user-practice changes, prioritizing optimization of existing systems before recommending new technology. The position leads process discovery, analysis, documentation, and future-state design; identifies process, configuration, and data-ownership gaps; translates findings into business requirements; and recommends sustainable improvements with measurable outcomes. It also supports strategic initiative evaluation and leadership review, coordinates cross-functional project delivery and business validation, and works with business owners and implementation teams on rollout, communication, training, organizational change, and outcome evaluation.
