About The Position

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, is seeking a Project Engineer for its balancing work. The Project Engineer will lead or assist with balancing steam turbines, gas turbines, and generators, with a focus on hands-on technical work. The role collaborates with the hourly workforce to complete tasks with minimal direction, executes production plans with an emphasis on safety and quality, and contributes to mechanical assemblies. It also involves preparing drawings and process instructions, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic equipment, operating and troubleshooting PLC systems and other complex systems, and balancing power generation equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to apply knowledge to hands-on solutions.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Availability for night and weekend work as required.
• Effective team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in balancing steam turbines, gas turbines, and generators.
