About The Position

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, is seeking a Project Engineer-Balance to perform diverse and technically challenging work. The role involves leading or assisting with the balancing of steam turbines, gas turbines, and generators, with a focus on hands-on involvement.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to apply knowledge to hands-on solutions.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Availability for night and weekend work as required.
• Effective team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hourly workforce members to complete tasks with minimal direction.
• Execute production plans while prioritizing safety and quality.
• Prepare drawings and process instructions.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Contribute as a team member in mechanical assemblies.
• Supervise, operate, and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Perform balancing of power generation equipment.
