Project Engineer - USACE Sentinel Program Omaha, NE
About The Position
ASR International Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical engineering support for construction management activities on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects within the Northwestern Division. The work includes quality assurance, submittal review, technical coordination, and support for related project documentation and analyses. Work locations are determined by individual task orders. Personnel must complete required training, including the USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course, safety training, and annual Ethics training. Candidates must be E-Verify eligible. Background investigations, Common Access Card (CAC) issuance, and/or security clearance may be required at the task order level. A candidate’s resume and candidacy may be subject to customer approval, acceptance, and required background checks and clearances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
- Minimum five years of relevant experience; ten years for senior-level positions.
- Familiarity with USACE quality management (ER 1180-1-6) and RMS.
- Ability to work effectively in a federal construction environment.
- Must be E-Verify eligible.
- Complete required USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors, safety, and annual Ethics training.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance inspections and document findings in RMS/CMP.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and technical documents.
- Support preparation of IGEs, change order documentation, and technical analyses.
- Coordinate with Resident Engineers and specialty disciplines.
