Project Engineer/Manager - Portland

Acorn Engineering IncPortland, ME
$80,000 - $100,000Hybrid

About The Position

Acorn Engineering, Inc., a Maine-based, 100% employee-owned civil engineering, construction administration, land surveying, and landscape architecture firm, has a full-time opportunity for a Project Engineer/Manager in our Portland office. Unlike larger firms where engineers may become specialized in a narrow range of projects, Acorn offers exposure to a diverse and ever-changing workload. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values hands-on involvement, and is energized by new challenges and opportunities. The successful candidate will work on projects spanning a broad geographic area, while collaborating with colleagues across Acorn's multiple disciplines and office locations. As an integral member of the project team, the Project Engineer/Manager will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through permitting and construction. Acorn partners with high-quality clientele and champions their projects from initial concept, through planning board approval to final completion. This is an exciting opportunity to assist a small (but growing) firm with a variety of tasks. We offer opportunities to grow professionally, volunteer, collaborate on exciting projects and develop lasting relationships both inside and outside of our firm. We look to empower our employees and provide them with the tools to be successful.
