About The Position

Accenture Construct is seeking a Project Coordinator I to join their team. This role involves coordinating projects under the direct supervision of a Program, Project, or Functional Manager. The coordinator will support the initialization, scoping, execution, and monitoring of project deliverables, while tracking and documenting work standards, contractor schedules, discrepancies, personnel, and communications. The position requires monitoring program and technical operations across multiple projects and locations, tracking planning and execution of support activities, and maintaining documentation. Responsibilities also include arranging meeting schedules, supporting risk tracking, issue resolution, and action item follow-ups, as well as monitoring and reporting on contracting and material procurement statuses. The role involves tracking and documenting contractor personnel, work discrepancies, and overall project progress, and supporting the development and implementation of work standards and project tracking procedures. The work location is flexible, including a mix of remote, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office, with some in-person collaboration expected.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of direct project coordination support for construction projects, such as Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects
  • B.S. in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience with client approval)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects under the direct supervision of a Program, Project, or Functional Manager.
  • Support initialization, scoping, execution, and monitoring of project deliverables.
  • Track and document work standards, contractor schedules, discrepancies, personnel, and communications.
  • Monitor program and technical operations, including multiple projects and personnel across locations.
  • Track planning and execution of all program and technical support activities, maintaining supporting documentation, including meeting minutes.
  • Arrange meeting schedules and provide support for risk tracking, issue resolution, and action item follow-ups.
  • Monitor and report on contracting and material procurement statuses.
