This role involves managing entire programs from strategy through construction and handover, utilizing AI and working with a team of engineers, technologists, and strategists. Requirements

B.S. in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience with client approval)
3–5 years of project management experience in construction projects (Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects)
PM I: 3-5 years of direct project management experience with customer driven utility projects.
PM II: 5-6+ years of direct project management experience with customer driven utility projects.

Nice To Haves

PMP certification or Agile/Program Management training
PE license
Experience assessing financial impacts of projects and building solid business cases
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and implement electric and gas utility projects of varying size and complexity.
Define and maintain project parameters, managing activities from inception to completion.
Oversee project deliverables, including scope, schedule, budget, design, procurement, and construction.
Ensure scope completion and adherence to project schedules and timelines.
Manage project budgets and optimize the use of available funds.
Oversee contractor selection and contract preparation.
Ensure design and construction quality, maintaining compliance with project scope and budget.
Develop uniform standards for project delivery and reporting frameworks.
Coordinate material procurement and contracting strategies.
Conduct monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and financial management controls.
