About The Position

Accenture Construct is seeking a Project Engineer to help deliver critical infrastructure projects such as data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories, and public infrastructure. This role involves working with a team of project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists to deliver entire programs from strategy through construction and handover. The company focuses on building what's next and emphasizes innovation through AI and real-world delivery. The role is primarily onsite at client locations, with some in-person collaboration expected for team building and client relations. Accenture aims to be flexible in supporting work/life needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field) preferred, or an additional four (4) years of related experience
10+ years of experience in engineering (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, civil), preferably within life sciences, pharmaceutical, or data center environments
3+ years of senior-level construction management or design management experience.

Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors
Ability to effectively lead a diverse team of professionals in a dynamic environment, while also being capable of taking initiative when necessary
Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, IEC, NEC, NFPA, ASTM, ASME, AISC related to building systems
Experience with system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and energy efficiency optimization
Experience with or coordination of design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software

Responsibilities

Oversee the design, development, and integration of electrical controls systems, including SCADA, EPMS, switchgear, power distribution, and other critical building systems for life sciences and pharmaceutical facilities.
Provide technical input on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil system designs during planning, design reviews, and project execution phases.
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure all systems meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and startup activities for building systems, ensuring compliance with project objectives and industry best practices.
Conduct schedule reviews, monitor project progress, and provide technical updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to clients and project teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical controls, power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, and facility system issues during construction, startup, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, issue resolution, and successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare, maintain, and manage QA/QC and commissioning documentation, including test reports, issue logs, punch lists, and system validation records.
Develop comprehensive turnover packages and support seamless handoff of systems, documentation, and operational requirements to facility operations teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations while staying current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
