About The Position

Accenture Construct is seeking a Contracts Admin to join their team. This role involves supporting project teams in developing contracting strategies, selecting contract delivery methods, and establishing commercial frameworks. The position requires leading and supporting contract procurement activities, administering contracts throughout the project lifecycle, managing contract communications, and maintaining contract records. The Contracts Admin will also monitor contractor and vendor performance, collaborate with various teams to validate payments and compliance, manage contract change processes, and support dispute resolution efforts. The role is onsite at a client site and involves in-person collaboration. Accenture Construct focuses on delivering large-scale infrastructure projects such as data centers, power grids, rail networks, and factories, emphasizing smart, safe, and sustainable delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in contract administration or management within large capital projects, supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, semiconductor, or other regulated industries

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical facility design, cleanrooms, laboratory facilities, process equipment, clean utilities, automation systems, and manufacturing support infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of industrial contract forms (EPC/EPCM, GMP), terms, and conditions
  • Proficiency in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, SAP, Autodesk forma
  • Knowledge of construction law, insurance, guarantees, warranties, and third-party rights
  • Skilled in tracking budgets, progress, and commercial deliverables across project phases

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams in developing contracting strategies, selecting contract delivery methods, and establishing commercial frameworks aligned with project objectives.
  • Lead and support contract procurement activities, including contractor pre-qualification, tendering, scope development, pricing evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all parties meet contractual obligations, deliverables, and performance expectations.
  • Manage contract communications, payment applications, change requests, payment certifications, correspondence, and commercial meetings with contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain contract records, document control systems, and project-specific procedures governing payments, approvals, variations, and contract administration activities.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor performance across cost, schedule, risk, quality, ESG, and compliance metrics, supporting audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with finance, procurement, project controls, consultants, and project teams to validate payments, insurance requirements, bonds, warranties, and contractual compliance.
  • Manage contract change processes by maintaining change registers, evaluating variations, assessing time and cost impacts, and coordinating approvals through governance procedures.
  • Support dispute avoidance and resolution efforts while fostering strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and key project stakeholders.
  • Prepare contract administration reports, support project closeout activities, reconcile contractual obligations, and ensure accurate retention of all final project documentation and records.
