About The Position

The CIS Program Coordinator, Center for International Studies (CIS), will coordinate a range of activities such as CIS Faculty Projects, country and area programs, and other initiatives as they arise. This includes creating program communications and advertising programs; administering application and selection processes; maintaining websites and other communications assets; maintaining program databases; developing workflows and collaborating with colleagues to achieve overarching goals; and coordinating events logistics and promotion. Will provide additional support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of two years’ professional experience in an academic administrative position
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to perform a wide range of complex and diverse duties with minimal supervision using a high degree of discretion and good judgment
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with and ability to work with frequent interruptions in an open office environment
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent English language writing skills
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with databases (Airtable a plus)
  • Tech-savvy and interested in learning new software as needed
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
