About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Program Manager to join its Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The role manages and oversees the day-to-day activities of specific programs or services, coordinates program activities, supervises staff, and ensures high-quality services for participants. The position reports to a Program Director or Director and may include managing a caseload.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass motor vehicle report and criminal background checks.
• 1–3 years of IDD-related experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisor or manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel matters, including leave management, workers' compensation, unemployment, performance management, hiring, remediation, and termination.
• Manage professional services.
• Purchase required supplies and reconcile receipts.
• Perform on-call responsibilities for the region.
• Manage incidents in partnership with QCO.
• When applicable, understand labor matters, including seniority, overtime rules, and contract interpretation.
• Manage client funds.
• Handle intake and distribution of medication.
• Oversee team compliance with required trainings.
• Oversee program operations to ensure adherence to monthly budget requirements.
• Coordinate program activities and supervise program staff.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality services to program participants.
• May manage an individual caseload.
