Program Manager, Partnerships

Braze•New York, NY
•$96,800 - $138,400

About The Position

The Program Manager, Partnerships operates across the Partnerships department, coordinating priorities that span functional pillars, events, cross-functional initiatives, and executive requests. The role establishes and maintains clear visibility into department workstreams, including owners, status, dependencies, and risks, with Jira serving as the source of truth. It also drives high-priority projects from brief through delivery and builds repeatable processes that support the department’s growth. The position supports flagship events such as SKO and Forge Partner Day, the department’s operating rhythm—including OKRs, business reviews, narratives, All Hands meetings, and internal communications—and planning and employee-engagement follow-up. The Program Manager owns delivery and clarity rather than the content or decisions: pillar leads own their numbers and stories, and leadership owns choices. Success means delivering high-quality work on time, surfacing issues early, maintaining transparent status, and enabling teams and leaders to execute effectively. The role requires discretion when handling sensitive information.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in program management, project management, or strategy and operations roles at a B2B SaaS or technology company; ideally supporting a go-to-market, partnerships, or alliances team.
  • Experience driving cross-functional programs from brief to delivery with multiple stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Experience running events or company moments involving speakers, content, and tight timelines.
  • Experience building visibility across a portfolio of workstreams using trackers, status reporting, and tools such as Jira, and keeping tracking accurate and useful.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, including the ability to turn updates and numbers into concise, clear information for leaders.
  • Facilitation skills, including running meetings with senior people, keeping meetings on time, and establishing clear actions and owners.
  • Data-driven approach, comfort building trackers, and ability to identify inconsistencies in numbers.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage varied work and multiple deadlines without losing detail.
  • Ability to build processes from scratch and keep them practical and lightweight.
  • Comfort with departmental tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Ability to lead through influence and trust, communicate clearly, maintain transparency, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a department-wide view of initiatives, including owners, status, dependencies, and risks, using Jira as the source of truth.
  • Run regular workstream check-ins, flag concerns early, and provide leadership with a clear view of progress and blockers.
  • Manage ad-hoc and flagship projects from brief to delivery by agreeing scope and ownership, building plans, managing dependencies and timelines, and conducting follow-up.
  • Support the Partnerships department’s contributions to company events such as SKO and Forge Partner Day, including leadership narratives and themes, speaker briefings, content gathering, and coordination with Marketing and Events.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that require a single delivery owner; clarify responsibilities, maintain momentum, and ensure proper closeout.
  • Support departmental OKRs, monthly and quarterly business reviews, quarterly narratives, and monthly All Hands by creating trackers and templates, gathering inputs, preparing pre-reads, and helping run sessions.
  • Support department updates and the PR-FAQ tracker for major launches, ensuring consistent format, tone, timing, and status reporting.
  • Support annual planning for the SVP, Partnerships and Partner Operations team.
  • Track actions arising from employee engagement surveys in Culture Amp through completion and report on resulting changes.
  • If Braze’s acquisition by Salesforce completes, help plan and track alignment of the Braze partner program with the broader Salesforce partner program and ecosystem.
  • Handle sensitive information, including survey results, plans in progress, and organizational changes, with discretion.
