Program Manager, Clinical Supplies Management
About The Position
The Program Manager, Clinical Supplies Management serves as the manager of Clinical Supply Project Managers (CSPMs), or may work as an individual contributor overseeing key pipeline studies and coordinating across CSPMs to ensure consistent study setup and maintenance. The role monitors CSPM process effectiveness and project-work quality, working globally and cross-functionally to support cost-effective study management and high-quality outcomes. It leads development of new processes to ensure compliance in Clinical Supplies Project Management, contributes to large cross-functional improvement initiatives that increase agility and compliance across AbbVie R&D, and evaluates issues and proposes solutions from a global perspective.
Requirements
- BS or equivalent education and typically 14+ years of experience.
- MS or equivalent education and typically 12+ years of experience; alternatively, a PhD and typically 6+ years of experience in the area or scientific discipline.
Responsibilities
- Manage Clinical Supply Project Managers (CSPMs), or oversee key pipeline studies as an individual contributor working across several CSPMs.
- Ensure consistency of study setup and maintenance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of processes and the quality of project work completed by CSPMs.
- Work globally and cross-functionally to ensure cost-effective study management and high-quality outcomes.
- Lead development of new processes to ensure compliance in Clinical Supplies Project Management.
- Work on large cross-functional improvement initiatives to increase agility and compliance across AbbVie R&D.
- Evaluate issues and propose solutions with a global perspective.
- Represent Clinical Supplies Project Management.
