Program Manager, Clinical Supplies Management
About The Position
The Program Manager, Clinical Supplies Management serves as the manager of Clinical Supply Project Managers (CSPMs), or may work as an individual contributor overseeing key pipeline studies and coordinating across several CSPMs to ensure consistent study setup and maintenance. The role monitors CSPM processes and project-work quality, works globally and cross-functionally to support cost-effective study management and high-quality outcomes, and leads development of processes that ensure compliance in Clinical Supplies Project Management. The position also contributes to large cross-functional improvement initiatives to increase agility and compliance across AbbVie R&D, evaluates issues and proposes solutions from a global perspective, and represents Clinical Supplies Project Management.
Requirements
- For a BS or equivalent education: typically 14 or more years of experience.
- For an MS or equivalent education: typically 12 or more years of experience.
- For a PhD: typically 6 or more years of experience in the area or scientific area of discipline.
Responsibilities
- Manage Clinical Supply Project Managers, or oversee key pipeline studies as an individual contributor while coordinating across CSPMs.
- Ensure consistency in study setup and maintenance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of processes and the quality of project work completed by CSPMs.
- Work globally and cross-functionally to support cost-effective study management and high-quality outcomes.
- Lead development of new processes to ensure compliance in Clinical Supplies Project Management.
- Work on large cross-functional improvement initiatives to increase agility and compliance across AbbVie R&D.
- Evaluate issues and propose solutions from a global perspective.
- Represent Clinical Supplies Project Management.
