About The Position

This course introduces students to practical elements of developing, implementing, and evaluating programs such in human services organizations including: problem definition, needs assessment, setting goals and objectives, designing programs, performance and impact evaluation, and basic budgeting for planning and overseeing programs. The course then turns to grant-writing. Besides learning how to identify potential funders, students will learn how information generated in developing programs can be used in writing grant applications to fund programs.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a related discipline.
  • MA (MBA preferred) in a related discipline.
  • Significant relevant professional experience related to the subject matter of the course will also be considered.
