About The Position

The Salvation Army, Developmental Disabilities Program (DDP) is seeking a Program Coordinator for their Residential Program. This role involves leading a team and advocating for adults with developmental disabilities to ensure they live with dignity and joy. The Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring top-tier care and safety, mentoring staff, and overseeing the program's operations to foster independence for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree (or 60 credits) with 2 years of field experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant field experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Word)
• Comfortable utilizing computers and other technologies including electric health record databases
• Solid understanding of federal, state, and county regulations (6400) for adult developmental disability services
• Ability to supervise staff, manage schedules, and maintain a positive, high-quality work environment
• Flexible availability based on scheduling and supervision for 24/7 residential operations
• Ability to manage and track large amounts of information, including but not limited to medical appointments, financial information, staff schedules, petty cash and quality surveys
• A valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Reliable vehicle
• Ability to manage on-call responsibilities
