Program Associate
About The Position
Bancroft is hiring a Program Associate, described in the posting as a Direct Support Professional, for its BI - Adult Day department in Mt Laurel. The role supports autistic people and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities by providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. The Program Associate helps people develop daily living skills and independence through personalized care plans, plans community events and outings, works collaboratively with a supportive team, and communicates with residents, families, and guardians. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and each hour may be different.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
- Hold a current driver's license in good standing.
