About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Children's Residential department in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. This in-person, non-exempt, full-time role supports children and adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner, helping the people served build daily-living skills and independence through personalized plans of care. The position pays $19.19–$19.58 per hour, plus an additional incentive. The listed schedule is Sunday 9 p.m.–7 a.m., Monday 9 p.m.–7 a.m., Tuesday 9 p.m.–7 a.m., and Friday 9 p.m.–7 a.m.

The organization provides services to children and adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, as well as people in need of neurological rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
