About The Position

Performs administrative and cross-functional responsibilities within the Community Service Office (CSO), working with CSO colleagues across multiple robust programs: Community Giving; the Quarter Century Club (QCC); the MIT Retirees Association; and MITAC (MIT Activities Committee). Responsibilities are roughly 50% MITAC and 50% Community Services, serving as the primary functionary for the Association of MIT Retirees, with secondary responsibility to support Community Giving and the QCC. Assists with the development of MITAC’s programming and with the operation of the MITAC ticket office and business operations, both online and in-person. Reconciles daily sales and credit card purchases, processes financial transactions, and conducts monthly reconciliation; anticipates and resolves technical issues; coordinates Retirees’ annual membership renewal; handles office administration tasks; produces name badges, seating tags, and other event collateral; and coordinates parking for vendors and guests; and monitors and order supplies for the office.
