About The Position

Echelon Services (Echelon) is seeking a Program Administrative Assistant to provide services including answering basic program inquiries via email and phone, creation and dissemination of program mass communications, data entry, review and briefing of program applications and supporting documentation. The TIP Program Assistant may be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials at the direction of the TIP Program Office Staff and reviewed for compliance with regulations and effectiveness in achieving intended objectives.

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Publisher)
  • Must possess Active Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelors Degree is desired; Five (5) years of additional experience in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

  • Answer basic program inquiries via email and phone.
  • Create and disseminate program mass communications.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Review and brief program applications and supporting documentation.
  • Work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
  • Type and track correspondence, reports, and tabular data from drafts, editing for spelling, punctuation, and grammar, and ensuring formats comply with the Department of the Navy.
  • Communicate messages, answer telephones, take and forward messages, and assist staff with follow-up phone calls on outstanding documents/actions.
  • Duplicate, collate, assemble, and maintain materials.
  • Coordinate and monitor meetings, appointments, schedules, and facilities.
  • Provide direct support for presentations, conferences, events, and other meetings.
  • Maintain hard copy, electronic filing, and record-keeping systems in accordance with Navy standards.
  • Ensure classified information is correctly accounted for and stored appropriately.
  • Prepare entries and input, track, and monitor data for inclusion in various information systems.
  • Understand and follow administrative protocols.
  • Perform evacuation responsibilities as a result of fire or other natural disasters.
