About The Position

The Atlanta, Georgia office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Professional Liability Practice. The practice includes attorneys across the firm's offices nationwide and represents professionals through direct engagement or insurance-carrier retention. Clients include accountants, architects and engineers, attorneys, bankers, computer and media professionals, financial planners, healthcare providers, insurance brokers and agents, school districts and municipalities, property appraisers and inspectors, real estate professionals, and securities brokers. The firm seeks candidates with strong research and writing skills and experience defending professional liability claims. It is also interested in talented developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience, an interest in professional liability law, and a desire to work in a growing, collaborative firm. The position is based in the Atlanta office; the posting includes a hybrid tag.

Requirements

Admission to the Georgia Bar is required.
Strong research and writing skills.
At least two years of experience defending professional liability claims; the posting identifies a range of two to fifteen years.
Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in professional liability law are considered for developing attorneys.
