About The Position

The Las Vegas, Nevada office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Professional Liability Practice. The practice includes attorneys throughout the firm’s nationwide offices and represents professionals and organizations in claims involving areas such as Directors & Officers, legal malpractice, Errors & Omissions, and Architects & Engineers. Clients include accountants, architects and engineers, attorneys, bankers, computer and media professionals, financial planners, healthcare providers, insurance brokers and agents, school districts and municipalities, property appraisers and inspectors, real estate professionals, and securities brokers. The firm is interested in candidates with professional liability experience as well as developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience, excellent skills, and a demonstrated interest in professional liability law. The role offers the opportunity to work in a growing, collaborative firm.

Requirements

Admission to the Nevada Bar is required.
Strong research and writing skills.
At least 2 years of experience defending professional liability claims; the posting identifies a range of 2 to 15 years.
Alternatively, substantive litigation experience, excellent skills, and a demonstrated interest in professional liability law.
