About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Professional Liability Practice in the San Diego, California office. The practice includes attorneys throughout the firm’s nationwide offices and represents professionals in matters involving professional liability, either through direct engagement or retention by a professional’s insurance carrier. Clients include accountants, architects and engineers, attorneys, bankers, computer and media professionals, financial planners, healthcare providers, insurance brokers and agents, school districts and municipalities, property appraisers and inspectors, real estate professionals, and securities brokers. The firm is interested in candidates with professional liability experience as well as developing attorneys with strong litigation skills, substantive litigation experience, and a demonstrated interest in professional liability law. Requirements

Admission to the California Bar is required.
Strong research and writing skills.
At least one to seven years of experience defending professional liability claims involving insurance agents, real estate agents, accountants, architects and engineers, legal malpractice, and errors and omissions is sought.
Candidates with substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in professional liability law are invited to apply.
