Professional Liability Attorney
About The Position
The San Francisco office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Professional Liability Practice. The practice represents professionals and organizations in liability matters, through direct engagement or retention by professional insurance carriers. Clients include accountants, architects and engineers, attorneys, bankers, computer and media professionals, financial planners, healthcare providers, insurance brokers and agents, school districts and municipalities, property appraisers and inspectors, real estate appraisers, brokers and agents, and securities brokers. The firm is interested in candidates with professional liability experience as well as developing attorneys who have strong litigation skills and a demonstrated interest in professional liability law. The role offers an opportunity to work in a growing, collaborative firm.
Requirements
- Admission to the California Bar is required.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- At least one year of experience defending professional liability claims; the posting specifies a range of one to fifteen years of experience.
- Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in professional liability law are relevant for developing attorneys.
