Professional Caregiver - Immediate Openings (Weekly Pay + Benefits)
About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home support to aging adults. Caregivers assist clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. TheKey describes its local teams as providing caregivers with support while they help improve the lives of seniors. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, and all shifts are being hired for. The listed top pay rate is $22.00 per hour; the posting also notes starting pay of $18.50 per hour. Applications are reviewed quickly, and qualified caregivers may often begin working within 3–5 days after orientation. Caregivers must comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States. For California applicants, timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification is required as a condition of employment. A conditional offer will be rescinded for a conviction of a non-exemptible crime, in compliance with applicable state and local laws. Eligibility requirements, compensation, benefits, and bonuses may vary by state and location.
Requirements
- At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- HCA registration with the State of California, which TheKey can help the employee obtain upon hire, including meeting state background requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or chest X-ray.
- Comply with applicable state background-screening requirements.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- California applicants must undergo timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients one-to-one with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments and run errands, including grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
