About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home assistance to aging adults in Palm Desert, Coachella Valley, and surrounding communities. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules, with all shifts currently available. TheKey describes itself as the largest provider of private-pay in-home care for aging seniors in North America and says its local teams support caregivers as they help aging adults.
Requirements
- Comply with state background screening requirements.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- In California, provide timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment; a conditional offer will be rescinded for a non-exemptible conviction, in compliance with applicable state and local laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments and assist with errands and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
