About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home assistance to aging adults in Palm Desert, the Coachella Valley, and surrounding communities. The role pays $18–$19.50 per hour, with full-time and part-time opportunities and hiring for all shifts. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. TheKey describes itself as a provider of private-pay in-home care for aging seniors and offers support through local teams.
Requirements
- Comply with state background screening requirements.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Applicants in California must undergo timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment; conditional offers will be rescinded for convictions of non-exemptible crimes, in compliance with applicable state and local laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments and provide transportation for errands and grocery shopping.
- Offer companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
