About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home care for aging adults in Mission Viejo and surrounding Orange County areas. Caregivers assist clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Professional or family caregiving experience is welcomed, though the listed eligibility requirements specify at least one year of professional caregiving experience. The role offers flexible schedules, full-time and part-time availability, and hiring for all shifts. Qualified caregivers can often begin working within 3–5 days after orientation, subject to eligibility requirements and screening.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
HCA Registration with the State of California; the company can help obtain it upon hire, including meeting state background requirements.
Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must comply with state background screening requirements, including timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification in California.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and grocery shop.
Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other activities offering social and emotional support.
