About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home care for aging adults in Fountain Valley and surrounding North Orange County areas. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The role offers pay of $18.50–$22.00 per hour, weekly pay, flexible schedules, and full-time and part-time opportunities. All shifts are currently available. TheKey describes itself as the largest provider of private-pay in-home care for aging seniors in North America. Its local teams support caregivers as they help older adults maintain quality of life. Qualified caregivers may often begin work within 3–5 days after orientation. Applicants must meet applicable work eligibility and state background-screening requirements, including California fingerprint identification requirements.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration after hire.
Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and comply with applicable state background-screening requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments and run errands, including grocery shopping.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, or other activities.
