This is a new position for the Fall 2026 academic period, specifically for the FLS 2581 O00 section of SOC 1501. The role involves teaching a French as a Second Language (FSL) course that is associated with a 3-credit course in a given discipline (SOC 1501). This course is taken in French by non-francophone students. The primary objective is to enhance students' second language comprehension skills (listening and reading) and to assist them in assimilating the course material from the discipline. While exam answers in the discipline course can be submitted in English or French, answers in the language course must be in French only. In addition to teaching the language course, the FSL professor must also follow the discipline course: SOC 1501 A00. The course is scheduled to be held in person.
